Stop press: On 14th March 2008, we will be holding our final party. Unfortunately, the guest list is closed to new enquiries. Taurus was married to Scorpio for over 20 years until he passed away at the beginning of 2003. They had always had an extremely open view on things of a sexual nature during their marriage and, as a natural progression of their own personal views, they decided to start up ScorpioNet in 1997. After a slow start, with enforced breaks due to Scorpio’s illness, we were up and running regularly from 2000 onwards. After Scorpio died, Taurus realised that she had to “keep up the good work” and very quickly continued to organise parties, with the love and support of very good friends and colleagues. Their continued support has enabled her to grow and now be the proud figurehead of a very successful party organisation. From humble beginnings with ill-organised, but fun, events in places as diverse as East Ham and Hampton Court, ScorpioNet has progressed to having monthly events in exclusive up-market central London venues. We pride ourselves on our organisation and people always compliment us on our efficiency, our friendly no-nonsense approach, whilst still retaining a liberal attitude. As an added bonus for Taurus, one of the very close friends who helped and supported her before and since Scorpio’s death, Lee Grant, has now become her partner both in business and personally. We have several hundred members around the UK, Europe and also visitors from the rest of the world, so there is definitely a multi-cultural atmosphere at our events. |
