It's Sunday evening, having just got my head together to write up the party.  This was a very low-key party, I'm afraid, due totally to the rash of last-minute messages from people saying they couldn't make it!  These things do happen I know but I do so wish people would realise the amount of effort it takes to organise these things and give consideration to maybe giving us a little more notice!!  Gosh, I sound like a right old moaning minnie, I'm not really.....

Not to worry, those that were there (about 25 of us in total) had an enjoyable time.  Great to see some new faces again.  We were celebrating Sangria Girl's and Ariandom's birthdays - hope you enjoyed the cakes guys!  Our wonderful barman Allan gave a promised lap-dance to Sangria Girl - I'm sure that's not in his contract!!  Thanks Allan and SG for giving us a great show!

Thanks also to Bob who got everyone in and out of the door in fine fashion, and to Lady T and Daft Tart for helping me get everything organised.

Here's to the next party which I'm looking forward to already.  See you there.
