26th May 2006 - Taurus' birthday

This was another smallish party, mainly due to it being bank holiday weekend.  However, good things come in small packages, and this event was certainly the case!!  A really superb group of people, who certainly got into the swing of things for a sustained period of time.  It was like the Marie Celeste in the lounge most of the night!!  The action in the bedrooms certainly made up for that!!!

Thank you everyone who brought me lovely cards and gifts to celebrate my birthday - very much appreciated, particularly because I spent my actual birthday (last Friday) feeling very ill and sorry for myself!!  So this certainly made up for it. 

Thanks to my boys, Allan and Kevin, who certainly worked very hard to keep everyone happy - I appreciated my surprise cake more than words can say, and I will be appreciating Kevin's thoughtful gift very soon ;)

We missed the presence of many of our regulars at this event, and we're sorry you couldn't be there to join in the fun.  You'll kick yourselves when you see the photos!

Finally, when asked before he left if he had enjoyed the party, one of our brand new members replied "mindblowing".  Not much more to say really!!!

See you in a couple of weeks, hopefully fighting fit again.  I'm afraid I'm not very good at being ill so the sooner this goes the better!
