This was a very hot, very sweaty affair from start to finish.  We had enormous difficulty getting everything ready in time, due to huge traffic jams, plumbing disasters, and other things sent to try the average day of the party organiser!!  Not to worry, we were ready and waiting for you when you did arrive so very pleased to see so many happy satisfied faces by the end of the evening!

Many thanks to Allan and Kevin who carried out their duties, and more, with their usual aplomb.  Always appreciated.  And thanks, Kevin, for taking the photos - a great selection, hope everyone agrees.

We tried to keep everyone cool with fans everywhere but frankly we were just pushing hot air around.  Thanks also to those smokers who sat by the windows in order to have a cigarette - it makes it so much more pleasant for those of us who don't!

Our work outside the parties continues to keep us both very busy at the moment so it's good to be able to get these parties together and for everyone to enjoy them so much.  I had some really nice comments from people last night, so it makes the organisation worth it.

The next one is in a couple of weeks so we look forward to seeing a selection of you then.  Until then, enjoy this wonderful weather we're having, it won't be long until we're all complaining about the cold again.
