This was a slow burner, with some unfortunate last-minute cancellations and some very late arrivals, due to traffic, business meetings etc.  However, once everyone was there and relaxed, it turned into a very nice party indeed.  A very pleasant and chatty group of people and good fun was had by all.

Many thanks to Allan and Kevin for keeping everything running in fine fashion, and packing up quickly so I could get home in reasonable time (apart from a hideous traffic jam which added 45 minutes to my journey!!).  Thanks also to Kevin for demonstrating his new rope-tying skills - I'm not quite sure how the Baroness felt about it, but it all looked very complex and entertaining!! 

Ms Mischief has been on the phone to me today and promises a visit soon, quite possibly the next party - I'm sure that's good news to some as you keep asking after her!

Lee and I have booked our trip to Australia now so the party dates in November and December have been moved slightly out of sync.  Do check the future party dates page for the changes and get your bookings in if you want to join us before the New Year.  We won't be back until the middle of January.
