Yet
another good party - you guys are certainly surpassing yourselves these days
in the enjoyment stakes!
We both struggled through the jet lag to get
this
one together so always much appreciate the results of our hard-work, as
well as thank everyone involved in getting things together, particularly
Allan, Kevin and Ms Mischief.
We were celebrating a number of birthdays at this party. Most
amusing point of the evening for me was bringing in the cake for Mr Tex
and Ms Mischief, only to discover that our other birthday girl, GeeBee,
was otherwise occupied in one of the bedrooms. She was duly
summoned to blow out the candles before being allowed to go and continue
to blow elsewhere!!! :D
It
was our annual collection for Children in Need at this event as well and
I'm delighted to say we raised £95. I'll post a copy of the
receipt when it's paid into the bank (now showing below). Thanks
everyone
for your generosity - hope the winners of the raffle enjoyed their
prizes! And I must say a big thank you to Foxy Lady for donating
two extra prizes to help raise some more cash.
That's about it for this month. Thanks everyone for coming and
making this such a nice party. We'll be around again for the
Christmas bash on 7th December and hope to see many of you there.
