Hi,

I have added several new features, some are 'behind the scenes', others are for use by you - I have listed some of them below. I will add to this list, as further features are added. Several of these features will be found under 'My Home'.

Please update your birthday under http://forums.scorpi...z/editbasic.php - this will add your Birthday to our new calendar :D



Added in an option for users to change their display names (Admin approval required)

Added in an option to mark all posts as read.

Changed the front page to show the subject of the last post along with who posted it for each forum.

Reworked favourite forums. These will no longer display in the "My home" area. Instead there will be a toggle on the main forum listing page that will allow users to display all forums or only their favourite forums.

Added a reply with quote option.

Added an option to add a thread to your favourites when posting or replying.

Made the Favourite thread and Reminders links into toggles. This means clicking once will add the thread/post to your favourites/reminders. Clicking again will remove it.

Added in the last poster for each thread when viewing the postlist screen.

Added a "My Cookies" link. This allows users to delete all cookies from this site.

Added a new calendar system that can be used for showing public/private events and birthdays. Along with the calendar we have added finishing touches such as birthday icons next to user's names on their birthday.

Added in an option when viewing a user's profile to ignore this user. Posts from ignored users will still be shown to preserve the flow of a conversation, however the body of ignored user's posts will be set to "You are ignoring this user."

Added a new option to allow users to select from a predefined set of avatars for their picture.

Polls are entirely rewritten. Polls now can have multiple questions, a start and end time, and other options.

Reworked and expanded the search engine, adding many new options including keyword and advance search queries.

Added the ability to upload your own avatar to the site, and to add attachments to posts.

The more observant of you :p will see a navigation to the left. If you prefer this to the right, you can alter it via 'My Home'

Okay it isn't much of a navigation yet - but it will be soon :D

Within this section, you will find a shout box, some short stats, and a link to any PM's.

At the top of the page (second row) - you will see a link to the Entrance ( http://forums.scorpionet.biz ) I am not sure yet, as to whether we will make this the new home page for the forums - your thoughts are welcome :D

New quick reply box added to each thread - so that you can quickly respond to threads. Complete with a pop-up graemlin panel and a pop up spelling check page (US English only though)

You will now get a copy of any PM's emailed to you - if you ask for a copy when sending one, this will also be sent to you. :D

Do you like graemlins? If the answer is yes, you now have pop-up panels with a decent choice - so whether you are :wall: or :excited: or :rofl: or :wavey: or maybe you prefer some dancing fruit :yay: :orange: or perhaps feel like :sleeping: there is one for you :)
