I had the same idea as a teenager, that it would me much more fun and sexy to be seduced by a "Mrs Robinson" character than to mess about with somebody my own age or younger.

Hate to be boring but the older married "Mrs Robinson" was my teenage wet dream as well.

My early morning slow Thameslink trains tend to be populated by males, with the occasional female. Nobody talks to anybody else, which has always struck me as antisocial but if they're as asleep as I am at 6:40 it's hardly surprising nobody talks. I get into work at 8 but my brain doesn't actually arrive for another hour.

But why am I talking about trains on this forum? Oh yes, the chance of meeting a sex partner on the train...hasn't happened yet sad to say.

I did however go to meet someone this week, after emails, and we met early afternoon for a very civilised drink, went well, so went for dinner, went well too, and the rest is private! And he insisted that I made a 'safe call' to someone from his home phone landline, even though I had my mobile, and he left the room while I did it too, so no pressure. (I called my sister who is in the Police!)
He is very well known on the BDSM scene and I checked him out on Google before to confirm, he even showed me id cards!

Nice to see some other sensible ladies out there. I went nuts at a friend of mine who did an offline meet with someone and didn't tell anyone where she was for the weekend. People take it as a laugh but I had a fright when I arranged a meet with a guy we had swapped photo's and we arrnaged to meet in a local bar. The guy has sent me pictures of his brother and he was physically disabled now I would not have had any problem meeting him but the fact he had gone so far with lying put me right off and I made an excuse to go to the loo and never went back but being safe is so important it's nice to see that other people are so sensible (and saucy 2!)

Surely it is only common sense to let *somebody* know where you're going to be, take your mobile and to have an exit strategy if things seem to be going wrong.

Tori you were 100% right to leave in that situation, once you realise somebody isn't being honest it just isn't worth taking the risk. The wife and I are each meeting somebody this weekend for fun, but neither of us would consider a 1-2-1 with somebody we hadn't met beforehand and without letting each other know exactly what was going on.
