Well, as they say in the classics, don't lead with the chin ........ :the20wave:

Who's going to win the world cup cricket and to be honest I'd be really surprised if the Aussies win and for that matter it wouldn't surprise me if the POM's don't get past the first round.. :bartshocked:

So who do you think is going to win? Hmmmmmm?

No Aussie bashing allowed :) 'cause I'll take my bat and balls and go home!!! :taz:

Hmm...I think it is going to be the Aussies or the South Africans. Dont think England will take it. :(

We should all have it, but not show it off.

O God,

F2Fingers.. wat have you done...

You are talking to an Aussie, who will be unbearable if they win...

Watever you do.. don't mention cricket... Try football... or Rugby (for the time being anyway)

I've got £20 with an Aussie that England will get further than Australia, and £20 with a South African that England will get further that RSA. I must have been drunk when the bets were struck, but I'll live in hope. :excited:

I'd think you'd have a better chance betting on Ireland to win.

After watching Ireland beat Pakistan in an Irish pub in Ireland (Carrols Bar in Galway) and watching England beat Ireland in an English pub in England (The Club in Victoria) I'm sad to say neither will win the World Cup. Unfortunately as my money is not insured it looks like the Aussie bar stewards and the South Afrikarnas will be having Drinks on me, again. :elephant:

You need to make a quick to OZ to watch Ireland play Australia in a Australian pub! I can recommend a few good ones out side the main centres. Like Birdsville, Burke, Ularu, Cape Crawford, all very good pubs :)

Oh! and good luck

Following Ireland's defeat of Bangladesh I'm confident England will beat South Africa on Tuesday, and go onto win the World Cup taking the Aussies in the semis or the final (what a final that would be!). My bet is begining to look as good as the men in tights. :ufo:

Steve, it is time to back another team, any team but England and you might just win a bet. (hint... they are on the other side of the equator)
